The new storyline will be written by Jonathan Hickman with art by Esad Ribic, and is set to begin next year in May 2015.

Reed and Nathaniel ended up there and they have a conflict with him, and by the end, that universe is destroyed. That story was all about (how) Doom had been knocked into a universe, and he took over the universe. The Fantastic Four later confronted Doom, taking away his control of this reality. In FF #16, Hickman and artists Nick Dragotta and Steve Epting set up Doctor Doom in his own hidden universe, planning to build a new empire in the devastated base of the Council of Reeds.
